Medicaid and CHIP are health insurance programs for people and families with limited income. If you have limited income and meet the other requirements, you and your children may be eligible for coverage under the Medicaid program. If your income is above the Medicaid level, your children may still qualify for health insurance under the CHIP program. Dental Services for Children: In Texas, Medicaid Dental provides comprehensive dental services for children under 21, including exams, x-rays, cleaning, fillings, crowns, braces, and more. Call Anew Dental at 940-565-5049 if you have any questions about your child's medicaid dental coverage.

Dental Services for Adults: In Texas, Medicaid dental coverage for adults varies depending on the plan in which you are enrolled. Call Anew Dental at 940-565-5049 and we will help you find out what dental services covered by your Medicaid plan.

Medicaid Eligibility Information: The Medicaid Dental program is limited to persons meeting income and other specific requirements. In Texas you can get more information about Medicaid eligibility by calling 2-1-1 and selecting option #2. Applying for Medicaid by Phone: Call 1-877-543-7669 (Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time) and an operator will fill in your application over the phone, then mail it back to you for you to sign and return.

Applying for Medicaid by mail or fax: You can submit an application by mail or fax. Application forms are available at http://www.chipmedicaid.org/files/CHIP_Application_English.pdf When you finish filling out the form mail it to the address is on the application or fax it to 1-877-542-5951.

Checking on the Status of Your Medicaid Application: After you submit your application, you can call 1-877-543-7669 to check on the status of your application. It can take up to 45 days for your application to be approved.
